Privacy Policy
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected online through the Auto Body Finders website (www.autobodyfinders.com) and any other website to which this is attached (the "Site"). By visiting the Site, you agree that your visit and any dispute over any information that you provide or Auto Body Finders otherwise collects through the Site, is governed by this Privacy Policy and the applicable end user license agreement (the "EULA") that you agreed to prior to receiving access to the Site. Note this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected through any means other than the Site, including information that you provide to Auto Body Finders offline or through any means other than this website. References in this Privacy Policy to "you" or "your" or variations thereof shall mean individual users of the Site, and references to "Auto Body Finders," "we," "our," "us," or variations of any of these, shall mean Auto Body Finders Information Services Inc.
Privacy Policy​
The Site is not intended for children. Children should not use the Site for any purpose, even with the permission of their parents. Auto Body Finders will not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to provide any personally identifying information. If you are under 13, please do not provide any information about yourself on the Site.
Information Collected
Auto Body Finders collects information using the Site through various means.
User Provided Information
One way Auto Body Finders collects information is by you providing that information. To use the Site, you may be required to provide personal information (e.g., information which can be used to identify you), which may include your first and last name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number ("Personal Information"), as well as information that does not identify you, such as Vehicle Identification Numbers. Some of the services offered by the Site involve the facilitation of communication between you and third parties providing services to you (e.g., a repair facility that is repairing your automobile or an insurance company processing an insurance claim). In such case, we collect not only the information you provide (e.g., repair status requests) but also information provided for or on behalf of the third parties. Information that you or such third parties provide that is not Personal Information is referred to as "Non-Personal Information." Any use of Personal Information and Non-Personal Information is subject to any legal obligations Auto Body Finders may have to you and to those third parties.
Browser Level Information, such as LocationPrivacy Policy​
The Site automatically collects limited information about your computer configuration when you visit the Site, including the type of browser software you use, the operating system you're running, the resolution of your computer monitor, the website that referred you, and your IP address. Your IP address is a numerical address that is used by computers connected to the Internet to identify your computer so that data (such as the web pages you want to view) can be transmitted to you. Auto Body Finders also uses IP address information for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. Your IP address can also provide us information about your location, but by itself, it does not tell Auto Body Finders who you are.
Cookies
To help Auto Body Finders tailor the Site to the needs and interests of its visitors, Auto Body Finders keeps track of the pages visited by Auto Body Finder’s users by placing a cookie on their hard drives. A cookie is a small entry in a text file stored on your computer’s hard drive for the purpose of identifying your web browser during interaction on websites. The cookie contains an ID number that allows Auto Body Finders to track the pages you’ve visited. Cookies do not reveal Personal Information. The only Personal Information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. The help function on most web browsers contains information on how to set your browser to notify you before accepting a cookie or to disable cookies entirely. However, if you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of various features on the Site that are available to other visitors. If you log into the Site via a third party, such third party may collect and use the information you provide. Auto Body Finders has no control and is not responsible for such third party collection and use, and you should review their data collection practices on their websites.
Web Beacons
To help maintain information about activity related to the Site, Auto Body Finders may use a small file, called a web beacon. Web beacons do not by themselves collect any Personal Information from visitors of the Site. In combination with cookies, web beacons allow Auto Body Finders to track, for example, whether web pages are viewed, how often web pages are viewed, and the specific times of day web pages are viewed.
Privacy Policy​
(i) We use Personal Information that we collect to provide you with information, products or services you order or subscribe to. Where the information, product or service is one that is offered on the Site but provided by a third party, we will provide your Personal Information to that third party solely for the purpose of providing you the information, product or service that you ordered. Unless you authorize us to, as further discussed below, the third party will be instructed not to use your information for the purpose of offering you any other information, product or service.
(ii) We may provide your Personal Information to our third party service providers, but they will only be permitted to use that information in connection with services they provide to us (e.g., if you order a product, we may provide your name and address to our fulfillment provider so they can complete your order, or we may store your data on servers that are owned and operated by our hosting services provider, etc.).
(iii) We may use Personal Information we collect (including any corresponding general information) to provide you information about other information, products or services offered by Auto Body Finders. If you do not wish to receive these kinds of communications, you can opt out by sending Auto Body Finders an email with the subject as "ELECTION TO OPT OUT - Auto Body Finders".
(iv) We may provide your Personal Information to our trusted business partners, to enable them to provide you information about other information, products or services offered by those business partners. If you do not wish to receive these kinds of communications, you can opt out by sending Auto Body Finders an email with the subject as "ELECTION TO OPT OUT − BUSINESS PARTNERS". Please note, however, that once you opt out, we will no longer share your Personal Information with our trusted business partners, but to the extent, a business partner has already been provided your Personal Information, you must contact that business partner to opt out of receiving further marketing materials from it.
(v) We may use Personal Information that is coupled with general information to improve the Site and our users‘ experience on the Site by providing users with information, including advertisements, that is relevant to that specific user.
(vi) We may provide your Personal Information to our affiliated entities and joint venture partners who may use the Personal Information for the same purposes as us.
(b) General Information and Deidentified Personal Information.

We may take Personal Information, and de-personalize it, such that it cannot be traced to a specific individual. We may use this de-personalized information and Non-Personal Information, as well as the combination of these two, for a broad range of purposes. For example:
(i) we may use de-personalized and/or general data to determine characteristics of visitors to the Site, which characteristics may be used to improve the Site or its features or to better market the Site or its features;
(ii) we may use de-personalized and/or general data to determine the popularity or effectiveness of certain features of the Site, and to improve the Site‘s appeal to users, and
(iii) we may use de-personalized and/or general data by aggregating it with those of other Site visitors to perform industry research and provide reports.
(c) Location Information, such as IP Address
We use your IP address to draw an inference about your general geographic location (i.e., city, state, and zip) to identify and notify you about selected Carwise shops in your location.
Security
Information Auto Body Finders collects on the Site is stored within Auto Body Finders controlled databases (or databases hosted on Auto Body Finder‘s behalf) on servers maintained in protected environments. However, no physical or electronic security system is impenetrable and no security can prevent all unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Although Auto Body Finders strives to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, Auto Body Finders cannot guarantee its absolute security, nor can Auto Body Finders guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to Auto Body Finders over the Internet.
Changes to the Privacy Policy.
Auto Body Finders reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Auto Body Finders will provide you with reasonable advance notice prior to any change (e.g. by email, notification on the Site). Your continued use of the Site after Auto Body Finders posts a revised Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
